FormART Multidisciplinary Design Management LTD. İsmail KANTO, who is the founding member and general coordinator of the company, was born in Istanbul in 1981. He completed his high school education at Istanbul Technical Textile Vocational High School, Turkey's only textile technical high school in Istanbul, by completing his branch, Dyeing-Finishing-Printing-Designing. In 1999, he enrolled in the Textile Design department at Trakya University Vocational School of Technical Sciences. After graduation, he started working in one of Turkey's leading companies, which will be his first place of employment for many years, in the field of home textiles - tulle curtains, with the principle of training from the core. In 2004, he rolled up his sleeves again to fulfill his national duty and continue his working life from where he left off. Not content with just home textiles, he took an active role in pattern designs and collection works for both sub-branches using home textile products and for companies producing ready-made garments, evening dresses and stage costumes.
While continuing his working life, he integrated the experiences he gained in the pattern design branch in which he studied with the second and third university branches, and expanded his working areas by adding Visual Arts / Photography and Cameramanship and International Relations departments to his portfolio. He was active in professional fashion photography and underwater film production. Having passed the state's proficiency exams and received training authority in two separate branches, it has started to provide training on photography and pattern design for industrial machines by assignment since 2018.
From the beginning of his working life, he took part in the management team of the company that initiated the first domestic R&D studies on the use of embroidery and laser cutting machines for home textiles. He has worked at the manufacturing level for the companies he is involved in, and has produced pattern designs suitable for manufacturing with the teams he is a member of. He has reached his 23rd year in the sector as someone who has managed to bring the market conjuncture by establishing multidisciplinary relationships with various textile branches and developing applications, and has guided group efforts. . In 2022, he continues his domestic and international work with the Form ART company he founded with his partner and colleague.
